error after RC2 install

Hi Pekka,

I just installed your RC2 update, ran updater in the installer directory and when I try to access the editors I get the following error:

Error in performing query fetch_one: Unknown column 'ee_use_custom_list_settings' in 'field list'

I'm sure this is a screw up on my part, but I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction to get it fixed.

Did you update over beta 4 full install?
Looks like you have missed all the intermediate fix packs, or just beta 4 fix pack 2 database updater (where the missing column was supposed to be installed).

Yes, I have applied all the patches, but it appears that one of them may have failed. I was successfully running 1.5 patch 5.

Is it safe to re-apply the patches or is there a specific one that I should re-apply?

I got the same error. Am I supposed to copy over the files first, and then run the appropriate php install file? Because the readme doesn't say. I just followed the instructions to the letter, and ran the install file from the default unzip directory.
For example, beta 4 fix 2 unzips to the EE15_b4_fix_2 folder so i ran 15_b4_fix_pack_2.php from that folder.

In each case, all the setups said the upgrade was fine: "If you see this installation was successful" although all the updates said "already exists" each time. So i'm not sure what's going on. I'm gonna try again from scratch.

You can reapply updates.

If you install Beta 4 full clean, the apply fix packs and from beta 4 fix 2 upwards to rc2 update you should be in rc2 without any problems.

So it goes:

1. Install full beta 4 http://www.photography-on-the.net/ee/beta/EE15b4_FULL.zip

2. Download http://www.photography-on-the.net/ee/beta/EE15_b4_fix_2.zip , replace files and run 15_b4_fix_pack_2.php

3. Download http://www.photography-on-the.net/ee/beta/EE15_b5_betaupdate.zip , replace files and run 15_b5.php

4. Download http://www.photography-on-the.net/ee/beta/EE15b5_fix_1.zip and replace files

5. Download http://www.photography-on-the.net/ee/beta/EE15b5_fix_2.zip and replace files

6. install http://www.photography-on-the.net/ee/beta/EE15b5_to_15_RC2_update.zip

Also do all that is written in http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=25362 in section IMPORTANT.

Then see http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=25418 for latest fixes.

I know this is pretty frustrating not to have full installer available, sorry about that, but at this stage it is just no there yet. Next week I'll put rest of 1.5 together, with installers.
