Like I just posted in another thred, I'm very pleased with that lens. It was definately a great addition to my gear. I already had the 300 4.0 before I got the zoom.
Although I don't use the IS that often, I wasn't going to spend over 1,500 and not pay extra to get all the features.
Now you can see why I'm interested in the D60 / 1D's ability to shoot sporting events. I know the 1D would be great especially since it would match my 1V, but with a 5,500+ price tag, it's out of reach now.

i looked at your site your images a very good quality are they D30 images?
i was using 100-400mm L IS USM and 70-200mm f2.8 and also 400mm L USM.
nice camera D30 thinkin of going for D60 but if i can produce quality images like you have seen is it worth it?

All my images are 1V. I'm wanting to get a digital camera...I just don't know which yet.
