hi everyone,

here's another newbie question, i would like to add the Hoya filters (uv, pol, etc.) to the adapter.. and i'm getting a wide, tele-photo, and macro lens soon.

the question is i might be buying 3 S3 lens adapter from lensmateonline for each of my lens so that i don't have to screw the filters in and out (not sure if i am explaining this right).. but regarding the Hoya filters.. is there a way to add the Hoya filters to the canon camera without have to remove the Hoya filters each time i use the other len adapters? (other then buy 3 filters for each lens adapter).. i hope i'm explaining this right.. can't think of another way to explain this..

if anyone can help me on this that would be most excellent..

thank you everyone!

You have to attach the adapter in order to be able to use the filters. The filters are attached to the adapter, you can use this combination any way you like - use one adapter and switch the filters, or use one adapter for each filter and switch between them.

The most logical way is to use just one adapter and switch the filters.

It makes more sense to use one adapter and switch filters. The operation is not difficult.
I don't think you can use filters with any of the currently available tele or wide lenses for the S1/S2/S3.
If you want to be able to chop and change filters a lot it may be worth looking at 'A' sized rectangular filters the available filter holders will allow several filters to be used at the same time. I think 'rectangular' filters are the only way to do real work with ND grads anyway.
