Hello Everyone,
This is my first post on this forum, so a little introduction :)
I am Nitin, from Delhi, India. Started using a Canon 20D in May last year, before that was using a Lumix FZ20.
here are a few shots from the Moon Lake in Himachal Pradesh, India. These were clicked while my friend and I were on a motorcycle trip. This lake is situated at a height of 14000 ft.

Three and four and absolutely beautiful. I love the sweeping lines in the hill in #3, but I don't care for the motorcycles. :p

Lovely shots, I like #1 myself the lake looks moody and at 14,000ft I'm guessing it is a wee bit cold.

One thing i have to say is that i envy you for the scenery, absolutely spectacular.
# 1 is the best framed and has the more atmospairic light , pity its not exposed properly, lack of filters i take it.

Thanx DV, i can see your turning green;)
Yup no filters used, but in the first pic, the light was falling on the centre mountain only and other two were dark. this was shot at 6 am in the morning, and with freezing hands.. :)

Welcome to the forums Nitin. :) You have some beautiful photos there, and the first three in particular are nicely composed and lead you into the photo due to the use of the road, river bed, and darkened lakesides.
