Oil painting Photoshop filer?

Greetings,

Hopefully I don't get lambasted for asking a dumb question...but does anyone know of a good PS filter or action that could take a good portrait and give it the look of an oil painting? Like something one of the old "masters" would have produced?

you could try Dark Strokes in PS( under BRUSH Strokes in filters ) and ajust the dark/light settings

I use Arcsoft prostudio 5.5 and it allows one to be as creative as you want.
the limits are yours. I also use DPP (Digital Photo Professional) Here is an example. one a Photo one a oil painting in Digital format.
