View Full Version : Workshops & Seminars - Show Us

I've become envious of all those nice photography workshops and seminars that are regularly held in Las Vegas, Southern California, Paris....

But many of us are just regular working stiffs whose hard-earned profits go into new gear and software. Expensive plane tickets often are not in our "Continuing Education" budget  .

So what about all those "other" workshops out there? These are the cheaper, less glamorous but often highly informative seminars and classes that may be nearer to your home. Post them here if you know of any!:D

I will make the first submission:

I guess I don't know my map as well as I thought, is the Pittsburg or Chicago one closer?

No, you're OK - actually I was thinking Cincy at 4 hours.... but Pittsburgh is really closer at about 2 1/2. Chicago would be 7 or so.

Other wise I'm not sure of much coming this way. Glazers usually has a list of workshops, but they tend to be pretty basic. You could try calling them to see I guess.

I'm looking for something in the Atlanta Ga area or the Greenville S.C. area. I know Atlanta has some occasionally so if anyone knows of one coming soon, let me know.

Clleeeeveland? :)

I'll make sure it gets added to the list of potential spots. DH and I spent some time there last summer for a family wedding and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. So it's worth revisiting.

Sounds good! Yup, it's not such a bad small big city.... there is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The Cleveland Orchestra, a fabulous Museum and Park system. A nice place for a photographer to live ;) .

Just wanted to update this old post. We've added a few new seminars, including one in Philly this month on lighting and business practices.
