I took the Agave parryi while on summer vacation in Arizona. The other, an Agave leopold I took as my buddy's. I love Agaves but they are just too big and mean (even for an attorney) especially for my overcrowded greenhouse. Perhaps if I made tequila...

first shot really shows off the sculptural forms. Your shots make the cactii sold locally seem so pathetic .

Thanks RM. :) My fascination with succulents and cacti, both from the perspective of a grower and a photographer (sometimes it is hard for me to separate the two), relates to their sculptural aspects.
