A good buddy of mine has switched over to a Nikkor system, so I'm taking pity on his old D30 rig and I have offered to purchase his equipment to give it a good home. I'm planning to use his D30 as my beat around back-up body. Until I get board and sell it again or until the shutter dies. :lol:
In any case enough about the background. I know setting parameters is performed via software in PC on the D30. But what I want to know is, if I plan to shoot the camera exclusively in RAW mode will adjusting any of the parameters have any effect on final image, or do these Parameter settings (Low, Std., High) only effect the JPEG quality?
