It's dark out now so I'm stuck shooting stuff like this. Bummer. Can't wait to get out this weekend and have some fun.

The 24-70 is also awesome when used in conjunction with a flash. Try it...you'll like it.

I'm waiting for my hand-me-down Tamron 28-75 from someone elses recent 24-70 purchase, I'm pretty excited and I'm sure it'll serve me fine even though...*sniff* it's not the L.hehe ;)

I keep chiming in to these threads to join in the celebrations with my 24-70 alternative. :)

I have no doubt that I'll love it as well, I've used a photog buddy's Tammy and was quite pleased with it. If I find that it takes over as my most used lens/range and I start putting it through the rigors of pro use then I'd consider moving to the L, gotta make some more coin from this aspect of my work first as right now I mostly just sell landscape/abstract/macro fine art prints. Moving more into events/portraits now. And thanks for the deal on your hand-me-down, ;) I'll leave you some positive feedback once she's in my hands.
