Butcha, out of interest, are you accredited for the tournament or shooting from your seat in the stands? If your lens doesn't quite have the reach to shoot a tad tighter at the far end, then try waiting for a backhand opportunity to arrive at your own end, and crop a nice tight one as they face your side to hit the return...

The last shot is the pick for me, with a good expression, nice timing and clean background. Try picking up different elements of the match rather than just the forehand shots...look at other aspects of the sport, such as the serves, the shapes of the court lines etc. Then stick the results up here! All the best.

Looks like you had accreditation for the tournament.

What lens did u use?

Apart from just upper body shots I take a lot of full body shots which gives very good idea of movement and footwork.

From the angle you have you can also take very good images of players serving.

Hi guys thanks 4 the kind words and help. to answer your questions, no I didn't have accreditation, most of these were shot on outside courts where access is good. I just used my 750300 f/4-f/5.6 kit lens so nothing special and that is the reson 4 the lack of DOF. I do realise that the shots are maybe a little cliche'd and will be looking for different angles when i go back. I do also have a few service shots but didnt want to post too many pics on here. Looking foward to getting more tomorrow. any more C&C alway welcome

overall i think you have done well butcha, i was actually working at the event as a courtesy driver, was fun, i think the only thing i would comment on is for me they are to tightly cropped, id like to see abit of the court in the shots other than that i like them.
