I would like to implement a gamma value check with different white to black values in the top right header/frame just the same as can be seen on this site:

The other idea would be to use a *.gif or *.jpg image which should appear there. This would, if coming from a calibrated system, be even more precise than coding the grey fields.
I think this is useful because a correct gamma setting is important if images should look right on as many monitors as possible. So if not all fields are clearly visible visitors could at least adjust brightness and contrast easily.
What do you think about this idea? Since i'm not that great in coding... How could i do this in EE2?
