Aggh! I didn't think it would happen to me, but it happened. The little piece of rubber on the eyepiece has been trying to let go. I've ignored it. I've tried to coax it to stay in its intended groove, nothing "natural" worked. I had to resort to extremes:
A minuscule bead of cyanoacrylate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyanoacrylate) glue, and it's held on there for good. :)
