I shoot alot with my Canon 70-200mm L and I dont have any filters for it, I was wondering what filters would anyone suggest that might make my shots look better, depending on lighting and weather condition. Dont have a real good education on types of filters or what is best for this and what might be best for that situation.

Thanks for any help that you might can offer me.

Personally I just use a basic skylight filter. It tends to sharpen up pictures for day to day use, and protects my lenses to boot.

A polariser is very useful to darken blue skies and reduce reflections from water, snow, metallic surfaces, etc. Here's one I shot with a polariser.

A circ polarizor is great to get good sky colors and also to avoid reflections. A neutral density filter if you want longer shutter speeds in bright conditions. And the much debated idea of a UV filter as a lens front protector.....

Dont see the point of using any other filters....
