The Idea here is pretty simple. Come up with a cliché and a picture to match it. The rules are ..hmm... okay so far no rules. If several people have a picture they want to share I see no reason not to post multiple pictures to the same cliché.I will post an example and the thread is open. This for example could be "Take it in stride"

Thank you both very much. This is actually an antique inkwell from my desk set sitting on the top of my car at the edge of my pasture with a very beautiful sunrise behind it. :D

Briefly, I used the custom white balance feature of the 30D (shot a piece of white paper on the floor of the dojo). Then I just used a wide aperture lens (the 50mm) at about f/2 or so. PM me if you want more details about how I did it.

Actually he has all of his claws! But I do keep his front ones trimmed since he likes to reach out and poke me to get my attention. But yes, he is a very patient, loving kitty.

That's pretty severe given that it only occurs after death. :shock: ;)

That is normally what Twink does, and I was counting on that to get the pic snapped! I even had the G5 out to get a little video of him falling over, lol. The way it was, he kept trying to jump off the couch, so I stuffed him down in the crack a little and got the shot before he was fully mobile again.
