Here are 2 pics from lastnight's practice shoot. I know I've been posting a lot of pics of this car lately, I'm trying to get better at it. Your advice & criticisms really help out. Thanks again!!

I like the background in the first if you could dull the light down a bit to make it more moody but I think it is too wide as the car looks too bent to me.
The second is better.

I agree with Steve in that the car looks distorted in the first shot. Otherwise....brilliant, well done!

The distortion in the first shot doesn't bother me, as it looks intentional. If I was being picky I would lose the headlights on the LHS they're a bit bright and draw my eye away. Ditto with the relected light in the window above the car's bonnet.
Excellent moody lighting and background though
Good stuff

Whats the exposure do for the pic? is that have anything to do with how much flash comes out with the pic. What is iso and what does it do?

nice shots but you have a bit of lens flare on the first pic from an overhead light... maybe a lens hood or an extra eye out fo light coming in accross the lens would help, flaring is common with extra-wide angle lens. Other wise good composure and the slight "bend" from the wide angle doesn't really bother me.

It looks pretty good. (given the crappy conditions you're working under.) ;)

Very nice work. I like the distortion on the first one. The environment is moody and goes well with the car IMO. I agree that the light in the windows above the hood of the car are distracting. You might try to clone them out. Also If you are back in that area to shoot again (and can), try to get the car towards the center of the street more. The crown seems to be tilting the car a little.
The second shot is very nice. I like the cityscape. Well done. Just a small nit pick though. The park bench on the left is just a little distracting.
Good work on these!

I wish you lived closer to me. I would love to get together with someone who knows how to photograph vehicles. I tried taking some shots of my '06 civic and they came out like crap.

Thanks for the comments guys!! I noticed the flare on pic #1 & the bench on pic #2, but didn't have the skill to clone it out. I'm new to CS2/photography & my cloning needs a lot work. When I clone, it ends up looking like poka dots. lol I need to practice more. Going for another NYC shoot. Anyone have any landmark requests??

I like the shots. Good work and good eye.
The only thing I would have done differently is removed the front license plate before shooting (if that were possible).

I went out to a parking garage to take some more practice pics. Here's one of them. Does the picture look too dark? Overprocessed? Is the field of view too far?
Exposure: 1.6secs. @ f/7.1
