Took a drive around this morning looking for photo opportunities. This is looking from Sarnia Ontario accross the St. Clair River at Port Huron Michigan. Connecting these two great countries is the Bluewater Bridges.

Why were the flags at half mast Dan?

I'm guessing it's for the American and Canadian soldiers killed in Afganistan and Americans in Iraq

Thanks for the link Dan. It is interesting that it is actually a federal law, but surely not even Americans are litigious enough to take someone to court if they don't fly their flag at half-mast? :shock:

Also stated quite a few soldiers killed that were from Michigan.
We have lost a few Canadian soldiers from this area too..:cry:
