The EOS 50E (Europe)/Elan IIE(US) should do the trick. If you wanted something similar to the 10D then it is the Elan 7E.

What do you guys think of Rebel Ti.
I know the shutter speed on this is goes till 1/2000.
and 2.5 Frame / Sec.
Thank you.

I progressed from the Elan II to the 10D with little trouble. The Elan II has the same dial on the back like the 10D. It seemed to be an easy and natural progression for me. KEH.com actually has a NEW one for $350 (and a new Elan 7 for $297, which doesn't make sense given that the 7 is much more recent than the II), as well as a few used Elan II and Elan 7 bodies. I suspect that B&H has some as well.
I still have my Elan II and I intend to keep it.

It sounds like you are in the USA, so I can speak to USA models.
The Rebel Ti is close, but it is closer to the Digital Rebel than the 10D. The Elan 7 is very close to the 10D. And since it was just superceded by the Elan 7n, you may be able to get a good deal on one at closeout if you look around. If you use an external flash, you may want to consider something at least as new as the EOS 3. They are compatible with the 'EX' series of Canon flashes. And if you are thinking of some of the telephoto lenses, there can be focusing issues with some of the older EOS bodies. Check the lens charts and the system chart at www.canoneos.com for more info.
Hope this helps

I've also migrated from the Elan II to the 10D and it was a simple transition. I still use the Elan from time to time. From what I've read recently Canon has a new version of the Elan 7 out.

Have a look at the Canon EOS Beginner's FAQ (http://photonotes.org/articles/beginner-faq/) for a lot of information and a complete description of the Canon EOS film bodies available.
The Elan 7 is more or less the film equivalent of the 10D - the same autofocus system, etc. I have the EOS 30 (which is the European name of the Elan 7E) as well as the 10D.
However, if I'd be looking for a film body now, I'd have a look at getting a second hand EOS 3. The EOS 3 is a step up from the Elan 7 - it's a faster camera and it has a much faster and better autofocus system.
