Hi folks, I've been looking into picking up a good card reader and am interested in getting one that can read not only cf cards but other types as well. Any recommendations?? Thanks in advance......PhotoDude

I've got the Sandisk Imagemate 6-in-1 USB 2.0 reader and it's great. The 8-in-1 is out now for basically the same price.

I just went out and bought a $17 card reader, its a 7in1. USB 2.0....I am very happy with it...

Dont spend alot of money on one, they seem to be pretty much the same.

Just be sure to get a card reader with USB 2.0 or Firewire interface (I think almost all card readers that you can buy today have either one of these interfaces).

If you get an USB 2.0 card reader, make sure your computer also supports USB 2.0, not the older and much slower USB 1.1. If your computer doesn't have USB 2.0, you can buy a PCI card with USB 2.0 connections.
