I really like the perspective that you've got going on in this shot. This selective coloring technique can be pretty tricky.

At first, the red telephone booth stood out A LOT. I took the liberty of changing it a bit just to give you another idea.

I made a copy of the background layer and completly desaturated it. I then decreased the opacity of the new layer to about 60%.

The only other thing that I did to this photo is increase the contrast a little bit by adjusting the curves.

Since the red booth isn't as vibrant, it's easier for me to pick up some details in it, and it's a little more subtle.

Nice work both of you. I like each for different reasons.
With the proliferation of cell phone it won't be long before young people will not recognize these. Unless of course they watch re-runs of Dr. Who. :-)

I like them. Is Preston the name of the company that makes them, a city, or ??? I have a neighbor down the street who has one of these in his side yard. Kid of like a tea garden area. Anyone ever see these booths used as a decoration like this?
