Hi All,

my daughter bought a digicam last year (A Nikon 2500 :? ) and was very disappointed about the quality of the pictures when she used the flash.

You all know about the white circles that appear on pictures when the flash is too close to the lens and the dust in the air reflects the light and that's exactly what happened.

So know she sold her camera, and because she knows I never had those problems with my G3 she wants to buy a Canon now  .

So my question is: what camera do you have and what's the quality of your flash pictures??

By the way: what she really wants is to buy my G3 so I can buy a Pro 1

Peter,
Sell her your G3! Just kidding, your question is a tough one. My wife and I have used almost every model digital camera Canon has put out. Out of all of them, my wife likes the A80. I like the G3 for its features, and the elph series (100 & 400) for its amazing capabilities for such a compact size.

I don't know if I could pick any one of them just by how they take flash photography although I've never experienced the problems you mentioned with any of my cameras.

Overall, if she is anything like my wife, she'll like the A80 best. Small, easy to use, swivel screen, and takes a great picture.
