Does anyone own a Kenko 1.4x TC?

Has anyone had a chance to compare it to the Canon version?

Also looking into the Tamron Pro version.

Just tryin to save a few bucks.

Someone on the forums is also offering the OLDER 1.4x Kenko which is white in color, but from what I read, im not sure if it will retain AF on f/4 lenses. I think it might need f/2.8 or faster.

Here I have the Kenko x1,4 and x2 DG 300 Pro.

The 1,4 is pretty good working with the EF 70-200 f/4 L and the EF 300 f/4 L IS. Mainly there is no way to see any IQ degradation; only AF speed when the light is deemed. But for 100$ is most than recommended.

One example here (http://photos.juanzas.com/Storks/IMG_7253b_fr.html)

I did not tried the other brands, so I can not help.

About the x2, itīs a lot worse, but very usable in the center. Hunts in my lenses with low light. I have to use the tape trick.
