Time to read one or more books on photography. :)

Photography is complex and aspects of one thing interelates to other aspects.

In short: ISO varies the sensitivity to light. A smaller number is less sensitive. The camera gives cleaner results when using the smaller number. You may need higher ISO for photos in dark situations.

Aperture and shutter speed work in tandem to affect your depth of field (how much depth is in focus in any particular shot) and stop action (how much action blurs in any particular shot.) A change in one means another change in the other: More light through a larger aperture must be compensated by less light through a faster shutter speed...

Although the human brain compensates for colour shift in light, the camera does not. White balance gets the photo looking 'normal' with 'abnormal' light.

Get a few books from your library, read them during your spare time, and try some things out. Practice practice practice. :)

Have fun with your new camera.
