I shot a LOT with that camera. I never felt that there were any drawbacks. It was a major decision to go digital and get a D60. It's a funny way to put it, but I liked the 3 so much that I gave it to my son so it wouldn't just sit in my pack as a backup camera. It's now his favorite 35 body. Well worth every penny for a film camera.

The price you will see the camera for reflects the amazing quality you will get with the EOS 3. It really is a truly great camera and worth every penny.

The EOS 3 is a very good camera and one I have used on both sides of the Atlantic as well as in Brazil. In other words it travels well is reliable and has all of the features I am likely to need. It is Canon's lowest priced pro model and has been a mainstay for seevral years (proven design). Sure, it costs more than a Rebel or the Elan 7, but it is a lot more camera and well worth the difference. In other words, go for it, you'll like it..Bob <><
