A Big Thumbs up to POTN

I recently have picked up a ton of wedding work, portraits, etc. Lots of word of mouth references. POTN really helped me get my head around what my business would "look like", i.e. what to charge, packages, etc - the basics. However, as I read more and more POTN threads, it became apparent that I needed to offer prints, wedding albums, coffee table books, dvds, etc. Within a few clicks, I had recommondations on what sites to use to purchase prints, books, etc. I also needed a way to charge clients for prints and products - hello Instaproofs, yet another POTN recommondation. Mpix was the other.

Needless, everything you need to know about starting, running, maintaining and building a photography business can be found by plopping your butt down at the computer and reading POTN.

So without any more delay, thanks POTN!!!

yes, this is true...I've dropped some knowledge on the boards, but I have some ways to go.

Sageone...It is always nice to hear this kind of feedback. As "photosguy" said, now you can pass on your experience(s) and make the forum even better.
I've been shooting many years and I still pick up a tasty morsel now and then.
