Hey guys. Don't know if this the right place or not, but i figured i would give it a shot.

I've searched and searched, but I cannot seem to find a thread I was looking at the other day. I thought it was in the lens section for a 100-400 or 400mm. It was a series of 5 or 6 pictures with amazing inflight shots of a particular owl. I don't think it was a barn owl, but the face was similar only dark.

What I liked the most about the pictures was that there was quite a bit of environment in the picture with the flying owl too. Any ideas?

Thanks,

-Paul

Daniella on dpreview has some really amazing pictures of owls and birds. I am a big fan of her work.

Have you tried using the Search button and look for 'owl'?

Of course. I dug and dug, but didn't see it. I think it was related to a 100-400mm or 400mm lens so i searched for those too.

Sorry, but I had to ask...so many times questions are posed and the obvious answer is not tried simply because someone didn't make mental note of the button. The same questions get asked over and over and over by many people, because of it. "What is the 'crop factor' and why use it?", "I want to shoot portraits, what lens should I get? I have only a kit lens.", "Should I get a 580EX or a 430EX?"
