This is the message I get:
0 photos found by search. This gallery has 13 photos in total.

What the hell am I doing wrong?
1. I click [CREATE A NEW PHOTO FOR THIS EXHIBITION]
2. A page opens up with some thumbnails. I choose a photo
3. A page with a form opens up. On the right, I see
THUMB:

MICROTHUMB:

both without images beside them...is there supposed to be images there?

4. I type in something for an image title (called filename for some reason)
5. I then click "SAVE NAMES etc." button.
6. Go back to the photo editor...no image in the list., with the message under the tabbed folder that says (now):

0 photos found by search. This gallery has 13 photos in total.

Exactly what is going on here? All the paths are updated but it can't seem to find anything?

Hi,

In multieditor check that that thumb and microthumb URL is a http://address.toyour/photos/ (with trailing slash!) and its 'path's a server path to that same folder. Your path seems to be wrong.

In any case there seems to be something odd there which I can't reproduce. If you have time, install phpMyAdmin and send me a dump of your whole database (no actual photo files needed) and I'll see where the problem is. Having a dump of the database is the only way to debug the problem. Anyways, I can not do this before next monday as I'm not at home, so I'd suggest that you do a clean full install of 1.05 and try again. You don't need to upload your photos second time - just update the software and add images again.

PS. Can you work with the demo exhibition? Rename, change data etc?

OK, I sent the db to you...but i the path to the thumbs was wrong why do they show up on the Exhibition Editor? When I look at the photo in the Photo Editor, on the right where the thumb and microthumb are supposed to be, the code says this:

THUMB:
MICROTHUMB:

which can't be right!

I checked and fixed your database by hand. It was a total mess - I can only reproduce something like that by running EE 1.0 code on EE 1.05 database - or maybe it was a disk error in your server. For example, there was not default location, all photodata camera, lens, workflow id's were set to zero (impossible!), and so on.

Nevermind, I mailed you a zip file which has the corrected database dump (open it to phpMyAdmin) and do the dump. It will REPLACE your existing gallery.

In the zip there are also all files for EE1.06, Copy ALL files over old ones. Do not run EE you have there now any more on the new database!
After update, you'll need to put thumb and microthumb path rights and then add filenames and other data to each photo.

Let me know if you still have problems.

PS. In case you ask: 1.06 is a beta version with a couple of database 'integrity security' fixes and two small new features - I'll put some new features and probably will release it as 1.09 very soon.
