Snow @ sealevel in the Pacific Northwest. Tempature is rather cold.
The bridge is progressing. Today the Olympic Mountains look beautiful.
I hope you find this photo to be a pleasently appealing shot.
Please let me know what your opinion is.

Well, I like it. I can't get enough of the Pac NW myself.
Love the framing too.

Hi neighbor!
We are in the middle of a real cold period. Glad to see it didn't stop you from taking this nice shot. It will be nice to have that bridge completed.

So is this in the same spot as the famous first Tacoma narrows bridge? The one that is now used in engineering school as a vivid demonstration of harmonic amplification.

Yea, but you have to admit, it is one cool effect. What really surprised me is that the bridge is oscillating with a crest to peak distance of maybe 20~30 feet and some guy is going to try and drive across it. Maybe it’s just me, but if the bridge is a jumpin’, I’m a runnin’

It's still called that. The nickname for the old bridge (as seen in the old video) was "Galloping Gerdy" although I may have mispelled it.

The bridge on the right is in the exact location as 'Galluping Gurdie', (how ever you want to spell it). One of the towers (the far one) is the original. The Cassons, or concrete bases are the same.

Get on that crane and take a photo. Not hard to get up there.. slightly difficult to set up a tripod, but assuming you aren't too large, it's doable. At night is best. :)

I'm sure no one would mind.
