still catching up a bit...NMA is a band who's been a long running concern in england and are pretty damn big in europe. known for their left-leaning politics and charged songs, justin sullivan's been at this game for a while now. they made a rare US tour, and i had a chance to shoot for The Big Takeover (some photos withheld for later publication). enjoy!

#1 - Justin:

#2 - Marshall:

#3 - both of 'em:

couldn't get any decent shots of the drummer or keyboard/guitarist; the bass player was directly in front of me and i really needed a wider angle than the 30mm.

These are absolutely great shots for their portfolio...

In pic #3 ...if there was any way to give the background guitarist more room in front of him, it might balance better? (that's just MHO for the moment...I reserve the privilege of changing my mind on the balance of the pic. at a future time...)

Oh, man, everyone is getting better and better but me! These are superb and I agree with Rene that #2 is stunning!

yup, count me in for #2. compelling, gorgeous, bright and dark and stunningly sharp on the guitar and the features not in darkness.

Very nice set. Love the shallow DOF & perspective of #1, looks like the neck of the guitar is coming out of the screen. #2 is terrific too.

A very powerful band that I saw many, many moons ago. Must have been a treat to be there.
