That is a gorgeous photo. The fog adds a lot of drama and I love the lighting as well.

Holy cannoli, this is a wonderful shot!
In my opinion it just needs some minor PS adjustments/editing... practicaly the ONLY thing that bothers me, are the 'dots' in the lower right and left, then the line of dots to the left of the ships and some burned highlight dots on the buildings... other than that, it's superb.

Just plain wonderfull! I would be very proud if I had this one in my portfolio!
One thing I would try is to make the middle area with the houses a little lighter. I'm not sure wheter it would improve the pic but its worth a try.

I knew we should have emmigrated to New Zealand instead of Canada!!!
What a beautiful shot. I would be more than proud to display that as my own. I agree that the buoys (I'm assuming) in the foreground and the rocks (another assumption) behind the left boat should be removed to clear up the distraction but your exposure and framing are perfect and the mood is compelling.
Well done.

Yes, excellent shot!
I somewhat agree with cityboy_ca on the bouys - I could take them or leave them - but the bright reflection in the upper left keeps distracting me.

What an incredible capture. Well done.
I think that the minor distractions mentioned above could easily just be cropped out without losing any of the photo's impact. A little crop maintaining aspect ratio from the left side and bottom. Those things don't bother me, but I can see how they could be a minor distraction. Overall, though...that picture rocks.

That's an amazing shot. Sorry I don't have anything more descriptive to add.

Woow what a good shot!! Very moody.
Have you try to put on a ND filter to see if you can get a nicer balance between the sky and the village?

It may be my monitor, but the upper right and lower left are pretty burned out?

Thanks manncer.
Yes ND filter means Netural Density Filter
The dynamic range of this photo I think is to larger of the camera. With a ND filter, you should be able to bring out the village a bit more
