Hi, I want to send the brides that have booked me a little tips/advice letter on things they can do to get the most out of their wedding photographs. I have some ideas already of what I want to put in it, but would love to hear what others have to say. Again this is for brides that have already booked me, I'm looking for little tips like "Be conscious of what you are wearing when you get your hair and make-up done, because there will be photos of this in your final wedding album." "Consider the background behind the speach podium at the reception, as this is an area where photographs will be taken" Any thing anyone could offer would be great,
Thanks,
Lally

Not sure the brides can control the place they get married (like in a church) but advice on making sure they have a professional makeup artist, hairdresser is key. And that they have a little kit for emergencies (sewing kit, bandaids, ductape, whatnot).

yeah, I agree...alot of times I have been in childrens play rooms where the bride is getting dressed...and you see HUGH A, B ,C's in red, yellow and blue in the background...you can PS it out..but it is a pain...One thing I suggest and have done with my own daughters wedding is bring a nice size of NICE material and a few swags or sprays and put it up and take al the pics there...or go outside...
as far as the church...PS it out...I just did a wedding and it was under construction..I had to PS out 2x4's, drywall, a HUGH UGLY sound center...
If you want to give the bride advice...I would work on the bride and telling her to relax..that if a mistake happens mostly only the people in the wedding party will know...everyone else may thing it "was supposed" to be that way. and expect something to not go the way you planned...simple rules but it will make the day go so much better.

If you marry of your daughters that gets dressed in a playroom, I think you should wait until they've become a little older. ;) :D (joking)
