default settings in PS7??

:rolleyes: Anyone know how to reset the defaults in PS-7 ?? I need to reset my printing/color managment settings and absolutly cannot find mention of it anywhere in the headers or help menu..??:rolleyes: :(

If you are using Windows, before resetting your defaults in PS 7, save them by backing up your Application Data\Adobe\PhotoShop folder. If you have a workspace layout that you prefer save it so you can retreave it after restoring defaults.

Then, start PS 7 and while it is starting, press SHIFT+CTRL+ALT. A dialog will appear that will allow you to restore PS 7 default settings. All your personal settings will be restored to default but you will be able to load back your workspace, brushes and etc. if saved them prior to restoring defaults.

All your personal settings will be restored to default but you will be able to load back your workspace, brushes and etc. if saved them prior to restoring defaults.Ha...worked exactally as you said...but still no luck in thr repair...it did not reset the Color settings...I found a copy of CS2 for idiots and coppied the page they had with their color management dialoge and presto chango...works fine now...I was literally 5 minutes away from reinstall...but thanks for the help...I'm quite tickled to have my prints back to normal......:D :D
