Hi Lisa,
Two things bothered me the most: the song and the copyright info. on the pics in the gallery. I do like the black and gray color scheme. Hope that helps a little.

Hi Lisa, the song is great! Do you mind sharing what it is? Your photos look great. :)

I'm going to be critical here ok?

My first initial impression is that it's a bit dark, just personal preference that I like photo websites that feel a bit more open and warm.

In your Contacts, the focus to me is on the H2 and not you, I think a head shot would be much better here.

In your photos, the copy wright is too obtrusive for my taste.

Also, your copy write is fairly large and obtrusive IMO.

That's it for now. :)

thanks for the info..the song is called "breathe" it is from stockmusic.net..I liked it..

I am going to have to check into the copyrighy..I dont think I have a choice on the size, so I may have to redo it without it

I appreciate the comments...It helps me to see how other people see..

the song gets kinda old after hearing it over and over. I like the black and gray, but the pictures just seem to take awhile to come up and i find that a bit annoying. websites are hard to do and hard to please everyone =) go off what you like

I personally think the song is way too much. I think that you may be alienating a portion of potential clients who aren't into such a pop techno type thing. That's just my opinion though, as I see there are some who think it works. I just think that the goal is to get as close as possible to everyone liking it since it is the first thing clients will hear. Also, I think you are doing your pictures an injustice by having such a large watermark on them. At the resolution they are at I doubt that they will do anyone much good to print them. Maybe I'm wrong, but if you want to sell yourself through your portfolio then you may consider having your pictures look as good as possible. Cool effects though. You're on the right track, just may need some tweaking

I agree that the music is a bad thing also the font on your menu's needs to be smoother. on your shutterbugs page there is a spelling mistake
"I see photography as a way to view other aspects of life. You can see something with your won eyes and view,"
Should be your own eyes i think. Any way hope that does't come accross as too negative, i im in the process of re-vamping my site at the minute and appreciate how difficult it is to get the right balance. The best advice i got was to keep it clean simple and easy to navigate. (which i still don't have right) And remember to keep the appeal broad to cover all your target client area.
Hope that makes sense.

Not negitive at all..I appreciate it....Like I told someone earlier...I only see with my eyes, but asking for others to help...I can see how others see it...

Thanks again, and I am going to look into these changes

Hey Gregory...what music did you hear?

was it one with a woman singing in the background or just elevator music...I tossed the first one "breathe" because more people did not like it then did. I have to hunt for more music...

Lisa,
I find the techno loop ok for the first 10 seconds only...sorry. I'd rather a more romantic feel for a wedding site and your choice of music can help that a lot,... or not. But you like it, and if you want to attract people with like tastes, maybe keep it. I don't plan to have music on mine... yet... Would rather focus on the photography.

Strongest impression: I can't say I like the website because:
The main photos were just one of a couple kissing, and another of them walking away, while the others were non wedding pics, besides the rings. This is mainly a wedding site right? Perhaps a stronger emphasis on the wedding pics?

If I were a groom or bride looking, I would be going..."that's it?" I want to see more of your work...
