Image numbers reset why?

Hey everyone,
I have just bought a new CF card and for some reason it has started from IMG_OOO1.

My camera is set to continues and when I first put my FUGiFILM CF card in my camera I formatted it, so shouldn't it number the files from the last image on my other cards since I set it to continues.

The first time I used the card the file names when like this IMG_0001, IMG_9983 so it was working but today it reset???

Anyone know what I should now do?

Since I took 55 images Should I add that to what my last card took then add that to it.

Then name a file of what it would of been and put it on the new CF Card.

My other Card was up-to 9994 so I guess it must of reached 10000 then reset.

I must of deleted the first few from 9995-10000.

So now will I have to rename my old files numbers as they will be the same.

If so I'll rename them to IMG01_0001 or does anyone have any other ideas?

My misstake it did reach 10,000 images because the folder is now 101 as before it was always 100. :D

Yeah. My naming convention is to include the folder number, then file number, then camera in the file name. As I use Downloader Pro, it's all automatic.
