Nice model, good photo. I can see two catchlights in her eyes, a main light to camera left and a fill light (or reflector) to camera right? (It might be worth actualy cloning out the smaller of those reflections )

What sort of lighting ratio were you using, as I feel that the photo appears a little flat, I think (IMHO) it would look better with a little more "shape", created by adjusting your lighting a little.

The B&W conversion looks good, I would like to see the original. Well done!

you're right.. i was using a softbox to my left for the main light plus a slave (umbrella) to the right, which was at 1/4 power I believe. Most definitely you're right about those catchlights, I forgot to clone that little one out.

I tried a couple of lighting setups (cross lighting) on her and imo this one comforted her the best. Though I can see what you mean.

I have another one where I did a different setup.. hows this?

I really like this pose, however the lights seem very low (level with her head) and are creating hot-spots on her cheeks. I would suggest turning the power down a little and retry, or using a meter.

The skin tone graduations are too harsh...it is distracting.
