There are a lot more trees in your picture than what I remember from when I was there in September, 2005. Nice place, though. I want to go back again sometime.

Did you know how close you were to Johnny Ringo's burial location while you were there? A hop, skip and a jump away, but it's on private property, so it isn't exactly advertised.

I wish I'd known about Ringo's burial location when I was there - I've sort of made of habit of photographing graves, especially of Western figures. I went there originally, on a side trip from Tombstone, to visit the Cochise Stronghold, miles from anywhere!

Thank you! In my case, it's .1% photographer, 4.9% gear, and 95% dumb luck:D. Seriously though, from reading what the guys that do amazing stuff on the forum have posted, I've learned that FAST shutter speed and lots of practice seem to be the major factors. I've been practicing birds-in-flight shots lately and found out I have a very long way to go. The bigger the bird, the easier it seems too, I was trying to get some shots of Swallows in flight a while back (I must've looked like an idiot doing it too), all I ended up with was shots of blank spaces, dead batteries from the autofocus and IS working all the time, and a sore neck and arm.
