Thanks Richard! I wasn't too high, maybe 900 meters above sea level. I was driving back from a morning shoot when suddenly I saw this great play of light and shadow on the mountain, so I pulled over to the side of the road and whipped out my equipment, just in time before the clouds moved in.

Lovely Craig, and a closer angle on the mountain that I've seen of you than before. It almost looks like you are as high as the mountain and very close to it too, but I don't remember seeing a neighbouring mountain from any of your other shots. :confused:

Thanks silvex! No, it wasn't taken from a helicopter; I took it on the roadside, but it does kind of look like an arial shot, doesn't it?

thats just beautiful Craig

I especially love the crisp ridges to the right and centre of the mountain which the snow shows up wonderfully
the cool air and that gorgeous sight must have been very invigorating , although you have 'been there' before
I guess it's always such a treat
the clouds above and below really add to all also
