I came across this site, worth looking at I guess.. The software they promote is called Express Digital Software..here are some of its feaures..

Catalog photos by customer or event

Copy, rotate, preview and add notes to your photos

Archive photos to CD or DVD

Open raw and proprietary digital camera files

Open any standard digital file format

Add borders, text and overlay graphics, creating new photo products

Built-in color, sharpness, brightness and contrast adjustments

Advanced retouch workflow

Automated proof sheet printing to the industry's best digital printers

Electronic on-screen proof presentation

Built-in slideshow and much more...

They give you a free trial download, (60 MB) which isnt much at all to download...

Im giving it a shot to see what it actually does... I'll keep you posted, but I thought I would pass it on anyway....

That looks cool - keep me posted, I might be able to use it to automate some of my border and package work

Pretty freaking expensive for what most anyone can already do with the right software and resources. Looks like a very lucrative business venture on their end of the stick with huge costs to the photographer! Yikes!

I agree with Jim... You need to be one serious professional photographer to justify that much cash outlay for a software package.

Yikes - I just noticed the price tag... Yeah - I would have paid $50 or somthing for the conveniance, but not $400... Biting the bullet for Photoshop was bad enough!

Where'd you find $400? Price I found was around $1,995...

There is the Darkroom Express for $495.

But you are correct the "Wedding Package" or "Studio Package" is well above that price.

I also agree this does seem extremely overpriced. If you tie program into the web store front option, they also get 15% of all your sales.

Interesting concept but a bit too pricey unless you already have a huge number of clients to cover the seed money.
