OK- now that I have your attention, let me ask. . . WHERE are they?? I see all kinds of marvelous shots here but only few of you have submitted for the POTN book!

So, to answer my own question. . . they may just be yours, or yours, or yours!!

Look through your archives, go shoot something new, but get those submissions in! Even if you decide not to submit :cry:, send a PM to your fave photographers and encourage them. I'd rather you submitted as well, though!

I read the information for submitting and it's not clear (or I missed it) of how they determine if an image fits into a share area. There are images that could really go into several areas rather than just this one. I've got some that were done as a mildly macro, still life, black and white image. But the image is of a flower. But I suspect there are going to be at least a million flowers entered in the Nature area. :D I'd hate to enter something in this area and have it get rejected because whom ever is doing the judging in this stuff thinks it should be somewhere else.

Do you have any insight on this?

When you submit, if the photo doesn't fit a category you'll be informed and it can be moved to the appropriate one. I would imagine that what you describe would be just right for still life/ BW/ Experimental. Please go ahead and submit
