I recently wanted blurred movement against a sharp background for a particular effect. It was pouring down and there was no time to set up a tripod since it was a 'grab shot'. Handheld it had to be then.

It was the first time I used my 70-200 f4 IS [Christmas present] and the EXIF data later showed 1/15 @ f4 at approx 150mm.

The railings immediately behind the movement were pin sharp. All bow down and praise be at the altar of IS.
