Firmware upgrade didn't go well....

My S110 appears to be dead...

I followed the instructions (http://web.canon.jp/Imaging/PSS110/PSS110_Firmware-e.html) from the Canon web site. Everything seemed to go as the instructions had said it would, but now, my S110 will not power on. I have tried other batteries and CF cards, but no luck. Does anyone have any advice on what to do next? Is the only way forward to send this off to Canon? Any help is appreciated...

Yep the only way is to send it to canon! and DON't format your cf card!!!
they say they need it to recover it with the files on it.
they probably also have to replace your main board! :oops:

is it under warrenty? if not, ask what they charge you because sometimes it's cheaper to replace an older camera like the S110
