Memory card got stuck?

Not physically stuck, but....I took a few pics, and my CF light stayed on and the camera said "busy". It was busy forever. I did a few things, came back, still busy. I turn the camera off, and it says "images to write to card: 3" or something similar. I finally popped the card out. All of the pictures seem to be there, unless I forgot about one. What the heck? My XTi is new (bought it in Dec.). I know you are going to ask me the name of my memory card, but my son is asleep on my lap right now so I'll have to check on that later. I think maybe Promaster or something like that. Does this sound like a problem w/ my camera or memory card?

sounds like a memory card problem to me, my old cybershot would do the same thing cause it had a crappy microdrive in it.

Were you shooting in RAW? Sometimes a cheap card can take a long time to record to. Try a different brand card, like SanDisk Ultra 2...........

Sounds like either a card problem or, possibly, low battery.

I was shooting in RAW+L or whatever it is when it takes RAW and JPG's.
