After the pointers I recieved here from my first seascape/landscape attempt, I tried again.
Don't be worried to speak your mind i'm here to learn from you.
The first shot has totally confused my labelling function, is it a seascape performing arts or people.

That first one is great for the subject in the shot. Do you know him or does he know you took his picture? I'm sure he'd love a copy of it. Great timing getting the bird in the frame as well.

Agreed... that first shot is really cool. I guess his parents don't want to listen to his off tune trumpet practice? ;)

Hi JT no I don't know him, originally I went up there to take a couple shots of birds and the pier, noticed him sitting there, fired off about 3 shots, saw the gull coming in on last one and fired when I thought he was roughly in same focal plane, very tricky to judge quickly but I learned something (judge by scale for distance). I waited with the camera trained on him hoping he would lift the trumpet but my wife was starting to go blue with cold and I had to leave.
Hi ErikM I'd say it was his wife sent him there, he looked to be about mid late 20's.
but yea I did laugh obviously someone has told him to go to the farthest end of the country to practice and he did ;)
Closeup crop and enlarge, on guess the age competition.
Thanks for looking and taking the time guys.
