I wouldn't go so far as callling it bad. To me it looks like a good shot but a little hard to appreciate what it is.

Fixed color hue of stones and saturated the other colors to make em pop.
Did USM also.

The contrast between the colors is a bit too much for me. I'd like to see the rocks with a greenish hue or something like that.

MM that water looks like it would melt a tripod leg ,nice coloring though.

Did you try selective colouration here. The contrast between the colour of the rock above an below water is striking! Like Frank I found it hard to work out what it was. Perhaps a crop on some details or a reshoot much closer in would help.

Thanks only about 45 minutes from me here in Binghamton. Buttermilk Falls is a beautiful park with limitless shooting. Its a nice picture. The only thing I noticed was that the ice is a little blown out.

I like this shot, i think that the ice? looks a little like liquid metal floating on the water. Maybe darken the highlights a little, just my thought,
