View Full Version : Will the 100-400 fit in the Crumpler Bunny Man or Long Schlong?

I would like to get a fairly small shoulder bag - but with room for a 20d with attached 10-22, room for the 100-400 and room for a standard lens (maybe 17-40 or 24-105).

Anyway, the point is, these crumpler bags have the flap from the main compartment to allow a longer lens to stand vertically into the 'darkroom'. The Long Schlong is taller, but I would like to have the smallest bag possible to hold this gear. Will a Bunny Man allow you to store the 100-400 vertically in this way - or is it not tall enough? The specs suggest it is very close - but I would like to make sure.

Thanks

Francis

The Long Schlong will take it on camera but is a tight fit. you can also get the hood in the bottom half.

The Sholder pad could be larger to spread the load. the 100-400 is one heavy lens.

Thanks for the reply, acidhouse.

I'm not bothered about it fitting on camera, but if it does in the Long Schlong - I guess there's quite a bit of room left over when you have just the lens on its own. Will it also fit in the darkroom at the bottom on its side - or is it not high enough?
