I am deciding between the 20, 24 and 28 sigma primes all with f 1.8. Anybody have any suggestions?? experiences?? comments?? examples??
As of now, I am leaning more towards the 28 because its the cheapest :-)
I will be using this mainly for indoor group shots w/o flash. I already have the 50 1.8 but its not wide enough in tight interiors.
Thanks in advance for any opinions.

I did a lot of research on this and came close to buying the 24/1.8. I never had a chance to try one out, but during my research I did come across this link (http://sd9.org/hardware/lens/primv1530.htm) with sample images from all three, plus the 15-30.
The consensus seems to be that all of them are pretty soft wide open. In the end, I opted for the Canon 17-40/4. True, f/4 is not well suited for indoor shots, but I use bounce flash a lot.

Thanks slin.
I am also thinking of just getting the Tamron 28-75 f2.8 xr for that matter. They say its pretty comparable to the Canon L. Not as wide as the 17-40 but faster..........I guess thats the trade-off :-)

I bought a Sigma 20mm 1.8 some months ago. I consider that it was good value for money.
Example from a 10d with centre/edge crop (at f8).
