I don't remember if I posted this. I put it on the comment sections for bands' Myspace pages.

I think you mean you made up the graphic above for bands to use as they wish in a good cause..
I just started a myspace page and have contacted some locals bands after last saturday nights hotel gig. It was fun, it has been good to play with CS2 and brush up on PP skills. And to see which pix can be rescued and which are beyond help.
So far so good. Just don't host a pic on myspace -hotlink it from other servers.
?
a. MySpace will compress any pic within an inch of its life.
b. MySpace terms of service says they are free to use it however they want.

Make sure you put a watermark of some sort on any myspace pix and make sure they are not suitable for reprinting (low res).
What's your myspace address carzee?

you there as well. I figure "when in Rome..." and its fun. You can play with their templates. Its also a dumb dbase. The town you nominate... I picked an incorrect State and it accepts.

I host most everything on Photobucket but I think they're losing res too. So anything important, I host on my own ftp.

Dwight PM me your email address and I'll send you a myspace invitation - you need to set up your own myspace page at www.myspace.com... then it gets very weird (but so much fun) from there on in!

Oh, I have a MySpace site ... and a couple of friends! I just don't understand it ... I've been a computer programmer for 30 years but that gets neutralized because I am over 30! :-) I don't really have time for it, sigh, I've got a million ongoing projects and tend to network like a madman in person.

I just added you. Cool to know someone in the Memphis area. Um, I'm gonna try that slide.com outfit and see how it goes.
How did Dwight get along?

I haven't had time to get back to this ... I'm up to my ass in alligators for the foreseeable future working on my business computer network, Kalyra/Bella Nova Women's Bicycle Team, and shooting Steely Dan this coming Friday night. My son may be coming by this weekend and I'll have him straighten me out on MySpace. :-)

First time I saw this guitar pic, thought it was just a typical photo of a guitar...Knowing you, I knew there had to be more to it than that...so I checked it out the second time and found the bokeh to be fantastic...So today I finally got around to write and let you know, it is a very nicely filled photo, with lots of colors and a complimenting composition...
Had to join Myspace last week to check out some photos, and now I find lots of you all have MySpace involvement...
The page looks pretty busy to me...with time, getting used to it should come naturally...There seems to be a lot of activity on several of the web sites of Bands, their members and some of our posters, too...

Say Basil, Who's Biff?
Isn't that Willy Loaman's son's name? from "Death of a Salesman?"

When I set it up, I was trying to figure out what myspace was about. (still haven't really accomplished that goal:oops:) I just made up a name when it asked for a name, Biff just popped into my head. Mortimer would have been good too... :D

Save Mortimer for the mortician...Biff is cool enough...
Same here regarding new web sites...Myspace just has a lot of bells and whistles, so it's kinda busy looking at first. I gotta study the front page and keep reading all the links and features till I find a starting point...
