That is a beautiful shot! I love the framing of the Mountains with the arch in the foreground. Your image showed up fine, along with a link above it (don't know if you already figured out the problem or not).

Outstanding photo Jim _ I was about 71 miles away from Whitney in Sequoia NP in June. I'd love to make the hike up top.

Odd that the image displays ... when I view the post I get a link. Perhaps its a preference.

Bluedog I'm in the same boat.... would love to hike to the top from the western approach. Beautiful country in there.
