It is a very good picture! I think that you maybe need to brighten up the land.

These shots are difficult (for me, at least) to judge. The very bright sky although it is dawn or dusk, is a bit over exposed. The foreground is also not quite there. At first look I missed the silhouetteof the person sitting out on the rock but that's quite an important part of the shot (well it would have been if it were mine). I think that the foreground would be better darker, to emphasise the silhouette or lighter to bring out some interest/detail.
It's a great idea, though zooming in or getting closer to the person on the rock might have helped it.

I am just a beginner & have no technical viewpoint on this photo.
But, I love the photo. I like the sky & the water & I like the fact that the land is black & does not detract from the sky & the water. I think this photo has feeling & movement & I would not want to see a person in it.
