Some fresh looking paint on that cab...would love to see a close-up of just the engine...5-7 don't really add much to the series, but might fit another area...the actual train images are good.

Yeah the engineer gives special treatment to that one such as washing her. Heard that they have carpet in the cab. They removed the GATX lettering and put Marquette lettering in place since this isn't the paint scheme. GMTX 2635 pulled the MQT caboose north from Grand Rapids last December to Manistee with Santa onboard stopping at the towns along the way. I have a thread on another rail forum which can be found here (http://www.railroadfan.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=3263&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=) and those were taken with my Sony point and shoot. I moved the crossbuck pics over here (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=264471).

Nothing wrong with taking a little pride in your equipment...not something you are apt to see with the big roads.

Yes they do! I took a look inside when the Santa Train stopped in Newaygo. They definitely take care of that thing.

Dan, here's a shot of the loco.
