Can it be done? It would be cool to be able to mask and change Temp's in certain parts of the shot........before converting.

Any Idea's

not exactly, you can do a split tone adjustment in Lightroom, so you could change the tone and saturation of the hihglights and shadows.

Best solution would be to produce two (or more) versions at different temps, convert and load them as separate layers in regular PS. Then either erase or mask accordingly.

Can be done, if you use Lightzone (http://www.lightcrafts.com/products/lightzone/Discover.php).

Can be done if you use ACR with CS2 and Smart Objects.

This isn't exactly what you want - I'd like a mask in raw as well, and the ability to use different settings in different parts of the image - but this bulky, dual conversion method might be the ticket: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=207331.

From listening to podcasts from Lightroom team, it sounds like they realize people want this, and may be working on that... (they're very hush-hush about features not yet included). But it probably won't be ready in time for 1.0.

I do not think it can be done. If it can, I will be interested...
